Jazz Youth

Every year, DølaJazz Lillehammer Jazz Festival organizes a seminar for young musicians (age: 15-20 years) who want to learn more about ensemble playing, improvisation, and chords.

During the DølaJazz weekend, the participants have worked together with professional musicians under the leadership of Edin-Johan Høier. At the Jazz Youth concert in Kulturhuset Banken, the participants show what they have learned over the weekend, and it has always been surprising how good this final concert is. It is highly recommended to attend; A splendid conclusion to the festival!

The seminar is Friday - Sunday during the festival week (16th - 19th October) at Kulturhuset Banken. The concert is also at Kulturhuset Banken, Sunday, 19th October (time to be announced).
