DølaJazz expands its offerings for young adults with two activities this year thanks to a grant from the Sparebank Foundation.
FjernJazz: Students from the music communication program in Hamar are organizing a JazzIncubator satellite at Hamar theater. They stream live from JazzIncubator in Lillehammer, interspersed with their own performances. The same evening, JazzIncubator starts the evening with a live stream from Hamar. Collaboration between DølaJazz, INN, Toneheim, and Hamar Jazz Club.
JazzHub: The idea behind JazzHub is to create a meeting place for music-interested young adults where they can receive professional input, meet others, and build networks. There will be a lecture on the use of AI in music by Carl-Henrik Wahl, and a panel debate on festivals in a digital world. Debate leader Dida Mohammed, musician Magnus Bakken, Anne-Thea Haavind (World Expression Forum), and audience representative Aksel Tjora.
All these offerings are free.
