New board in DølaJazz

At the annual meeting on 26.02.2025, the board of DølaJazz welcomed two new members. Kine Krokan Aasen takes over the marketing responsibility from Andrea Lamprecht, while Malin Wulvik takes over as volunteer coordinator from Thomas Holtlien Hagen. Kine works with project management and business development, while Malin is employed at the University of Innlandet, at the Center for Lifelong Learning. The board has gained two new, talented members!

We also thank those who have recently left the board, Thomas Holtlien Hagen, Andrea Lamprecht, and Gunnar Melbu. Gunnar had a main responsibility for technology in the board, but actually did much more and much else than that. The recent years have shown that DølaJazz must have technical expertise available throughout the festival, as well as in planning and facilitation. Everyone on the DølaJazz board works voluntarily. This means that those who are not retirees are in other jobs. Recently, it has become clear to us that we need to hire technical expertise for rehearsals and concerts. There is little room for error in carrying out this work. Therefore, we have not brought in a new board member responsible for technology.

In this year's DølaJazz board, we have several members who are not new, Roel Puijk, deputy chairman and responsible for finances, Marius Langvik, responsible for side program 2, activities for children and youth, and Anne Mari Skjærvik, responsible for side program 1, corporate concerts, and The Cultural Walking Stick. In addition, there is Hans Kjorstad, who plays a key role in program work, Thale Tveita with responsibility for JazzIncubator, and board chairman Kathrine Skretting.
