Thank you so much for a fantastic DølaJazz 2026!

21.10.2026

What fantastic festival days we've had! DølaJazz 2026 is now over, and we are left with a sea of good memories, powerful musical experiences, and great gratitude.

This year's festival has filled Lillehammer with music, life, and atmosphere through a diversity of concerts, venues, and expressions. From intimate encounters between artist and audience to grand concert experiences, the festival has showcased the breadth and power found in jazz and improvised music.

The program has been packed with talented musicians and strong artistic experiences. Both established names and new acquaintances have left their mark, and many of this year's concerts will surely live long in the memory of both the audience and organizers. For those who wish to reminisce, you can find the festival program and photos from this year's festival here (photos are updated continuously).

We would like to extend a big thank you to the audience. Thank you for coming back year after year, and thanks to all the new festival-goers who have found their way to DølaJazz. You fill the concert halls, streets, and meeting places with energy, curiosity, and joy, and are truly the heart of the festival.

It has been especially delightful to see so many young audience members and volunteers this year. It gives hope and inspiration for the future and shows that jazz and improvised music continue to engage new generations.

We would also like to thank our partners and supporters. Through your contributions, we have been able to create great experiences and offer a varied and exciting festival program.

And not least: A huge thank you to all our volunteers. You are the engine of the festival. With enthusiasm, willingness to work, flexibility, and a ready smile, you make it possible to carry out DølaJazz year after year. We are incredibly proud and grateful for everything you contribute.

Now the festival is over for this time, but the memories live on. Thank you for this year, and see you again at DølaJazz 2027!
