Fåberg Musikkforening - genuine joy of playing, strong community, and proud traditions. Fåberg Musikkforening is a vibrant and inclusive band in Fåberg. Here, music enthusiasts come together to play, develop, and create great experiences – both for themselves and for the audience.
Since its founding in 1887, Fåberg Musikkforening has been an important part of the local cultural life. Today, the band combines long traditions with musical quality, skilled instructors, and a warm social environment. With us, there is room for both engagement, development, and true musical joy – and we are proud to be an association that creates unity, energy, and great musical moments.
During DølaJazz 2026, the music association will perform a concert together with Ellen Andrea Wang and Hanna Paulsberg. The concert in Lillehammer Church will be in three parts; one section with the music association, one section where they play pieces specially arranged for the band and the evening's two soloists. Finally, Ellen Andrea Wang and Hanna Paulsberg will do a small section in duo format.
