Britt Adams
On stage we find jazz musician Sigurd Hole (Bass), who is also joined by Caroline Kaldheim.
Norwegian folk music and minimalism in classical music are important musical inspirations in Hole's solo project, and nature is a fundamental driving force. He is currently working on new music both for solo double bass and other ensembles, based on material from his ancestors from Rendalen. At the concert during Jazz Day at Fabrikken, he will present some of this material, as well as excerpts from his previous releases Elvesang and Lys/Mørke.
Afterwards, there will be an open stage/Jam - where we hope as many of the city's jazz-interested musicians as possible will want to join in!
Free entry.
