Jordal/Bordal/Berdal Trio // Jazzincubator

After playing together in various formats for several years, the trio emerged as a natural space to delve into a shared musical language based on improvisation, acoustic soundscapes, and electronic real-time processing. The music exists in the borderland between modern Nordic jazz, free improvisation, and experimental sound textures.

The trio works with open forms where communication and listening guide the direction, and where electronic processing of acoustic instruments serves as an extension of the acoustic expression. In the trio format, there is little to hide behind, creating an honest, direct, and transparent expression that evolves from concert to concert.
