Through intricate fingerstyle playing, effects, and looping, he creates everything from hushed sonic landscapes to driving, rhythmic grooves, while Wilhelmsen’s voice winds around, above, and through the soundscape with both playfulness and precision. Their interplay is intuitive, humorous, and delightfully unpredictable — a free‑flowing surge of musical abundance.
The repertoire features Raknes’ original songs from the Stillhouse series — Chasing the Real Things, On the Road, Due og Drone, TID — along with hand‑picked interpretations of songs by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Depeche Mode. Steinar Raknes
A bassist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his unique blend of double bass, voice, and electronics. He has released several critically acclaimed albums, toured the world, and performed with artists such as Chick Corea, Mickey Raphael, and Tord Gustavsen. Raknes is recognized for his commanding stage presence, virtuosic and innovative bass playing, expressive vocals, and ability to create expansive soundscapes through electronic elements — an uncompromising musician with deep roots in both jazz and americana.

Unni Wilhelmsen
A singer, guitarist, and songwriter whose voice and expressive delivery have made her one of Norway’s most beloved artists. She broke through in 1996 with Won’t Go Near You Again, and has since released multiple award‑winning albums, toured extensively, and collaborated with a wide range of Norwegian musicians. On stage, she is warm, witty, and fully present — a storyteller who makes everything she sings feel authentic.
