Sunsei is a band based in Oslo that moves in a groovy landscape between neo-soul, pop, and jazz. Their music is characterized by warm tones, driving rhythms, and an expression that shifts between playful and vulnerable.

Inspired by artists such as Fieh, Joni Mitchell, and Hiatus Kaiyote, the band emphasizes interplay, improvisation, and strong songs. Through shared musical curiosity, they quickly found an expression that felt honest and their own – where groove and improvisation form the foundation for an open and vibrant soundscape.
